Religion...

Christians, Rastafarian's, Jews, Muslims etc all these and more are Religions from around the world.
There is only one religion, though there are a hundred versions of it.
George Bernard Shaw
I am pretty sure I am not the first person with this thought pattern that something somewhere is obviously wrong with religion...Right???

I mean come on everyone wont be born into Christianity so who is to say that only those who believe in it shall go to the "better life" after death???? Here's my theory...
Christians are under the impression that once you accept the lord Jesus Christ as you're saviour, you are automatically in the running to go to heaven. So what about the Muslims???? Rastafarian's???? Anglicans???? What about the rest of the world?????

The Muslims are known to pray to their own god known as Allah. Nothing in common to Jesus right??? Okay no problem. Jews pray to their god known as Jehovah. Still nothing???? What about Rastafarian's???? They believe Haile Selassie I to be god incarnate.

Rastafari is not a highly organized religion; it is a movement and an ideology. Many Rastas say that it is not a "religion" at all, but a "Way of Life". Many Rastas do not claim any sect or denomination, and thus encourage one another to find faith and inspiration within themselves, although some do identify strongly with one of the "mansions of Rastafari" — the three most prominent of these being the Nyahbinghi, the Bobo Ashanti and the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

Back to the matter at hand however. I could go on and on giving you the names of all the worlds religions but what exactly am i getting at??? Well here it is. All religions are basically one and the same (in a sense) I base this solely on what I believe (don't quote me lol). Anyway if you take a good look at it you will see that in all these religions there is some sort of faith put into each and every one of their deities/gods and it is this faith along with some other achievements that aid the believer in going to the Promised land of said religion. We who have been grown in Jamaica which majors on Christianity know that you have to take the Lord Jesus Christ as your saviour, walk in his footsteps and try to be as close to perfect as possible in order to go to heaven when we die. But some one who grows in say Iraq will not have such a happy ending because Christianity is not widely spread if it even exists there in the first place. So how or why then would our all powerful god only allow those who call upon the name of Jesus Christ solely to enter his kingdom??? Its absurd. The thing is Allah, Jehovah, Haile Selassie I and all these other gods are one and the same. He just goes by different names in different religions. I don't ask you to take my word for it as i said its just the way i see things. What I believe. Do your own reading.

I don't think i gave the best explanation but you should still be able to understand what I'm getting at. It doest really matter your religion or belief, we all will end up in the same place at the end of it all. Either we will be in Heaven/Promised Land or we end up in Hell/Purgatory the whole matter of Limbo (the place between Life and Death) is a completely different story. Also the story of Religion and Politics....will be done a next time
